Job Description Summary: Engineering Manager
This position is expected to successfully lead a team to drive regional and local goals on product design, localization, and sustaining engineering. This position is based in Ningbo China and reports to China Operations Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
+ Leads Ningbo engineering team to closely work with marketing, sales, production, quality, and sourcing teams for new product development from design, validation to mass production.
+ Takes lead on design and its optimization of product with short time-to-market at competitive cost.
+ Ensures design quality by complying the procedures in all design and development activities and using critical six-sigma tools like VOC, DOE, DFX, with sharp mind-set of six-sigma design or concurrent engineering.
+ Coaches the team in efficient and effective way/methodology and motivates the team to achieve high performance.
