Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engineering support and assist the marketing team in retaining existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities within the shipbuilding division.
- Support commercial newbuild and ship repair teams during tender exercises for newbuilding and conversion projects.
- Assess contract terms, technical specifications, and equipment requirements to ensure alignment with design obligations.
- Develop initial design concepts that support newbuilding tender submissions.
- Establish drawing schedules and coordinate technical meetings with clients, classification societies, designers, vendors, and system integrators.
- Implement design and engineering production plans for awarded newbuilding projects.
- Interpret classification rules and maritime regulations; review and understand design drawings.
