Engineering Technician (Active Clearance Required)

Primary Functions:

•   Apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve electronic equipment problems.


• Reference knowledge of interrelationships of circuits and judgment in determining work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments.

Execute principles of electricity and electronics as they apply to shop practices and techniques involving electrical and electronic circuitry.



• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, manuals, handbooks and technical specifications; sufficient knowledge and skills required to install, repair, test and checkout electronic equipment and systems using the appropriate test equipment.
• Ensure work performed is in specific compliance with accepted practices and work assignments.
