ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR)

Summary You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR) in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department, Nuclear Quality Division of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will develop and implement quality control procedures and review procedures from other shipyard organizations pertaining to nuclear quality and/or radiological controls. You will review the work of engineers, technicians, scientists, radiological, production, etc. personnel in the shipyard. You will monitor the work of inspectors, radiological technicians and shop mechanics to ensure conformance with approved procedures/specifications.
