Job Description

Summary You will serve as an Engineering Technician (Nuclear) in the Radiological Control Technician Qualifications School (C105.7) of the Manager, Radiological Controls Support (C105.1S), Radiological Control Office (C105) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will apply technical knowledge, practical experience and familiarity with a broad range of requirements related to the radiological control to the modification, repair, and maintenance of Naval nuclear reactor plants. You will evaluate and advise on technical concepts that involve exposure to ionizing radiation and provide recommendations of techniques for new radiological procedures. You will manage student records to include electronic grade sheets, qualification records, and database maintenance and updates.
