Duties & Responsibilities

1. Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse
2. Compliance with the SANC code for Enrolled Nursing and all applicable Health Care Legislations
3. Computer Literacy
4. Flexible in working hours/Shifts
5. Basic Life Support Course by an accredited Service provider
6. Relevant experience in a Surgical Unit
7. The Enrolled Nurse will be responsible for direct or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse / shift leader
8. Practice patient care according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and assume responsibility and accountability for these activities under direct supervision of your senior
9. Carry out all unit related duties as assigned by Supervisors
