- Administering enterprise class backup/restore products
- Administering DR solutions
- Managing backups and restores
- Troubleshooting of issues related to backups and restores
- Tuning, optimizing and capacity planning
- Patch management
- Monitoring and performing analysis of alerts of the backup/restore/DR environment
- Recommending and implementing best practices and security standards
- Updating the technical documentation and operating procedures
- Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures
- Providing 2nd line support to other IT teams and coordinating with 3rd line of support
- Participation in coordination and project meetings
