Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist needed for an opportunity with SOC’s client to work in Clifton, New Jersey.
Work Schedule: 9/80 - 7AM to 4:30PM, 7AM to 3:30PM Fridays 

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company environment, health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental health and safety regulations.

Work to reduce company risk and liability in all aspects of EHS.

Assists in a variety of duties to include, sampling, observations, training and inspections.

Works with stakeholders in the organization during space planning, building expansions and/or other changes in facilities or work areas to ensure EHS requirements and regulations are met.

Assists with root cause analysis when EHS incidents occur and recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist.
