Environmental Health Safety Specialist (Southern Region)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability support and advisory across retail operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend practical risk control measures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor H&S improvement plans based on incident trends and operational risks.
• Lead accident investigations, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor compliance with H&S policies, legal requirements, and company standards through audits and inspections.
• Prepare and analyse H&S performance reports, incident data, and key metrics.
• Deliver H&S training and awareness programmes for employees, contractors, tenants, and business partners.
• Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture and ensure safe work practices are embedded across the business.
