Job Description

Summary About the Position: The incumbent will serve as the U.S. Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS) Environmental Specialist and Command expert on environmental and energy laws, regulations and unique requirements related to the management of Military Ocean Terminals (MOT), and its capital investment strategies. Responsibilities Advise the Command Engineer of all major environmental and energy issues. Manage Energy Program in coordination with Military Ocean Terminals (MOT) Energy Managers, Technicians, and Headquarters supporting Engineers. Coordinate on short and long-range plans and develop programmatic strategies in environmental, energy and climate planning. Consult necessary historical, regulatory, and technical references as needed to evaluate proposed actions.
