Job Description

Job Summary:
Maintains an acceptable level of cleanliness and an improved aesthetic environment for the Surgical department. Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks. Performs daily and terminal cleaning of operating rooms.

Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Environmental services experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
Performs routine cleaning of operating rooms, nursing units, departments, lobbies, lounges, restrooms corridors, elevators, and stairways.
Assists Operating Room team with case cart, equipment, and supply needs. Distributes, collects and processes linens. Assists with additional duties such as cryo-machine, autoclave room, ordering food.
