Administer the assignment of rail container plans to 3rd party and Werner asset carriers. This includes the prioritization of equipment plans based on equipment utilization, dwell time, cost, and capacity.Work with carriers to ensure equipment plans are being executed as planned and communicating impacts of failed performance.
Advise Operations Supervisor of issues or needs as necessary and perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.Work with railroad contacts on equipment related issues and opening cases or escalating EQ issues to ensure customer expectations are being met.Achieve performance goals pertaining to street turn utilization and overall dwell time and cost.
