Position: Estimator
Job Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)
Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, considering all aspects from labor to materials and overhead.
- Review project plans, specifications, and proposals to understand project requirements.
- Conduct thorough analyses of bid documents and design plans to ensure comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather relevant data and assess project scope.
- Research and source materials, subcontractors, and pricing to support estimates.
- Maintain organized documentation of estimates and ensure records are up-to-date.
- Participate in project meetings to present estimates and discuss potential cost-saving measures.
