Evidence Based Clinical Leader (E)

Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Practice and Education oversees the education and implementation of evidence based practices initiatives as well as quality improvement initiatives. Assesses the education and training needs of all nursing department employees to assure competency in collaboration with Nurse Leaders, Performance Improvement Department and Patient Care Service Department. Also assesses the educational needs of the various departmental leaders pertaining to critical care/ED, MedSurg and Telemetry areas. Plans, coordinates, organizes and provides education and training to meet assessed needs. Evaluates the effectiveness of education and training provided. Trends and analyzes all programs for their impact on nursing practice and patient outcomes. Provides supervision, support, development and mentoring for all staff in the Critical care/ED, MedSurg and Telemetry areas.
