The Executive Director will lead the strategic management, development and optimisation of UCT's extensive and diverse multi-site property and infrastructure portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic management and development of all property and infrastructure functions
• Oversight of capital development projects and property portfolio management
• Management of facilities and custodial services, maintenance, transport, and safety
• Space planning and campus development initiatives
• Identification of opportunities to optimise asset value and support strategic partnerships
• Leadership of precinct development and sustainable revenue diversification
• Ensure physical assets effectively support excellence in teaching, learning, research and innovation
• Lead and transform a large, complex multidisciplinary department through effective organisational and people leadership
