About the Executive Sous Chef Position
We're seeking a motivated and professional Executive Sous Chef to join our team of chefs. Working as an Executive Sous Chef, you'll be responsible for helping plan the menu, managing kitchen staff, and assisting with the preparation of food. Careful execution of large events is critical- it's all about the details!
The kitchen can get busy, so strong communication and multitasking skills are a must, as is the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities
- Work with head chefs to develop new menu options based on seasonal stock and demand
- Test and approve all menu items
- Keep track of inventory, ordering new supplies as necessary
