POSITION SUMMARY:

Works with patients to support and encourage them to meet their health and life goals. Design and carefully monitor programs patient safety and progress through Pritikin ICR. Friendly, accommodating, and encouraging.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of one-year clinical experience in Cardiac Rehab program preferred, with emphasis on wellness, communication skills, customer orientation, and ability to lead through demonstration.

2. Desire to work with a comprehensive health care team. Committed to a healthy lifestyle as a model for participants and staff.

3. Expertise in the human body’s metabolic response to short- and long-term physical activity for ICR. 4. Advanced knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, risk factor modification strategies, counseling techniques, and uses of behavior change programs and technologies in CR/SP services. 5.
