Expert Engineer - Gas Turbines / Cooling Air Systems

**A Snapshot of Your Day**

As a Cooling Flow System and Clearance Design Engineer, you will work in an international team of engineers on projects for the development of service upgrades and new products, as well as in support of our service organization. You will typically collaborate closely with project managers, component engineers, and colleagues from manufacturing and service.

You will work independently on your assigned tasks and coordinate priorities together within a global team.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**

Use of internal and commercial calculation software for:

+ Creating calculation models to describe the cooling air supply of hot gas components in a gas turbine and evaluating the corresponding results
+ Creating calculation models to describe the transient heating and thermal expansion of the entire gas turbine, as well as determining optimal assembly clearances between rotating and stationary components
