Extendicare Part-Time Dietitian Role

Shape nutrition care at Extendicare as a part-time Registered Dietitian in Vulcan, Alberta. You will support residents’ nutrition and hydration through comprehensive assessments and educational initiatives.
Extendicare is looking for a dedicated RD to assess and monitor residents' nutritional statuses. Your role includes developing care plans, educating residents, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize health outcomes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives for both nutrition care and dining services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess nutrition levels for newly admitted residents
• Create and evaluate personalized nutrition plans
• Document resident nutrition support regularly
• Educate staff on dietary best practices
• Conduct nutrition and hydration assessments with care teams
Requirements:
• Degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited program
