Facilities Utilization Planner and Events Setup Coordinator

Position Summary

Information Duties The Facilities Utilization Planner and Events Setup Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the use of campus facilities for university events. As part of the duties, the coordinator will develop plans to maximize facility usage and provide data on administrative facility usage, along with recommendations for space utilization changes. The coordinator will also be responsible for directing the detailed work associated with events, such as preparation, setup, and breakdown of event equipment, as well as other services that require university personnel and/or equipment. Additional responsibilities will include assisting the Director of Facilities Operations in other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Work with events team/requestors to identify needed resources such as tables, chairs, sound equipment, electrical, custodial, trash, landscaping, and manpower support requirements
