Job Description
Summary Serves as the Facility Management Systems Specialist, responsible for managing and overseeing the park's Facility Management Software System (FMSS). Supports the Facility Management Division in a National Park Service unit with diverse buildings, utilities, roads, trails, campgrounds, and landscaping. Responsibilities At the full performance level (GS-09) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Developing facility and non-facility projects in the Project Management Information System (PMIS). Overseeing asset identification, parametric condition assessments, lifecycle analysis, cost estimating, and work order creation. Manages and updates asset data, calculates Current Replacement Value (CRV), evaluates Facility Condition Index (FCI) metrics, and develops or reviews facility projects in PMIS to ensure alignment with maintenance, budgeting, and planning requirements.
