Factory Accountant - Contract

A well-established manufacturing operation in Port Elizabeth requires a Factory Accountant on a temporary contract basis to support financial costing, reporting, stock control and manufacturing finance activities. Reporting to the Management Accountant, this role will suit a detail-driven finance professional with strong analytical ability and experience within a manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for cost reporting, preparing import cost files, coordinating stock counts, conducting variance investigations, reporting scrap, providing SAP-related transaction support, and ensuring compliance with financial controls and company procedures. Exposure to production finance, inventory management, and factory reporting processes is essential.
