Failure Analysis Engineer Sr (Guadalajara)

Overview
Purpose Statement: Provide initial assessment of root cause failure analysis of electronic components and related devices on a physical (not electronic) level.
Responsibilities
Perform sample preparation and initial assessment of defective, electronic, electrical and mechanical parts.
Write reports to summarize findings using Microsoft Word or Excel and convert to PDF as required.
Establish standard assessment practices and create documentation.
Maintain laboratory and related equipment.
Route issues for further analysis to FA Lead Engineer.
Additional Accountabilities
Assist in the assessment and management of third party laboratory services.
Support on generation of FA reports.
Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business.
Additional duties as assigned by management.
