Job Overview
The Gold River Health Clinic offers a 0.5 FTE primary care physician position serving Gold River and Tahsis. The physician will provide primary care on-site in Gold River (primary location) with visiting services to Tahsis.
This opportunity is a job share arrangement with an existing physician. A part‑time Nurse Practitioner works alongside the team, and the clinic hosts social worker, public health, physiotherapy and adult mental health services.
In addition to primary care, the physician will cover emergency care in the clinic ER room. Nurses initiate first call and contact the physician when needed; they also provide point‑of‑care lab services after hours. The clinic has limited laboratory and imaging services and no inpatient capacity.
Under an Alternate Payment contract, a full‑time physician is expected to provide a minimum of 1,850 hours annually, including after‑hours work. Hours for a job‑share physician are prorated.
