About the role
We have two core pillars:
- Build a Finance function that becomes a benchmark for the market.
- Work closely with the founders on strategy, board/investor conversations, and future fundraising/financing workstreams.
This is a Lead role, but we are hands‑on at every level. From entry‑level to C‑level, everyone owns projects, sets a high bar, and delivers.
Why this role matters
- Finance at Abacum sits at the core of company strategy.
- Our founders are former CFOs. Our customers are finance leaders. Our product is used by finance teams. The way we run Finance internally needs to be excellent.
- Our Finance function is lean, automated, AI‑enabled, and built to operate at the frontier of innovation. We do not want a function that spends its time manually rebuilding reports or chasing numbers across disconnected systems.
