Financial accountant (8-month contract)

Our client, one of South Africa's FMCG favourites, is looking for a Financial Accountant for an 8-month contract position at their office in Pinetown. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Performance Areas: Review of supporting documents and releasing of online payments Assisting with preparation of the interim and year-end financial statements Assisting with preparation of supporting workings to the financial statement process Assisting with technical research - IFRS matters Assisting with the IFRS 9 workings Assisting with the IFRS 16 workings Assisting with preparation of banking covenant calculations Assisting with Investor relation queries Provide support to the group treasury function Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements: CA (SA) Immediately available 2 years' post-Articles experience Articles completed at a Big 4 Firm Proven technical knowledge of IFRS Proficiency in SAP & MS Office High stress tolerance & ability to work efficiently under press...
