Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions for the hospital’s programs, and to provide monthly analysis, reconciliation and reporting of hospital accounts. The role also supports month end close procedures, annual processes of the external audit and the preparation of timely account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
Accountabilities:
- Preparation of month end reporting information, including, but not limited to, preparation of revenue reports, posting of required adjusting journal entries and analysis of variances month-to-month and actual to plan
- Preparation of account and sub-ledger reconciliations to ensure quality control and accuracy of accounting records
