Location: UCHealth Westbridge Ft Collins, Fort Collins, CO
Department: PVH MC Adult CD PHP
Work Schedule: Part Time, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $22.14 - $28.78 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:
+ Obtains insurance benefits and authorizations for specialized programs (i.e. cancer center, transplant).
Responsibilities:
+ Communicates with medical team, patients, families and insurance companies all pertinent information regarding authorizations and coverage options in cases where the benefits may not be sufficient.
+ Assists the patient in applying for any federal or state programs (e.g. Medicaid, drug assistance programs) as needed.
