Financial Operations Manager

Summary About the Position: Incumbent will serve as the Deputy G8 for the U.S. Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS). The Incumbent will assist the G8 in the management execution of the full spectrum of responsibilities and programs that fall within G8 area of responsibility. Responsibilities Direct the execution of all fiscal responsibilities to include accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Supervise the command’s budget execution, civilian payroll, fiscal policy, and travel programs. Develop command-wide financial policies and guidance to ensure regulatory compliance. Oversee internal control programs to ensure efficient and effective use of government resources. Provide authoritative advice to leadership on financial management policies and regulations.
