Financial Services Consultant- Insurance

Job Overview

Location: Hybrid (one day a week in office in Downtown Toronto or Downtown Montreal). Schedule: Client Service Centre calls from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; employees are scheduled for a consistent shift three out of four weeks.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound calls and transferred sales leads from Sun Life’s Group Benefits members who are leaving their employer benefit plan and want to convert their health and dental, life insurance and/or critical illness benefits to an individual plan.
• Provide consultation to members by reviewing their options and recommending solutions that are aligned to their needs and help them through a period of transition.
• Contribute to sales targets by meeting or exceeding objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of related sales experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
• Experience selling insurance products over the phone is an asset.
