FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY of NAVDRUGLAB GREAT LAKES IL. Responsibilities You will provide account maintenance and accounting support work to verify, maintain, and reconcile accounts. You will review requisitions to determine adequacy and completeness of description, which may involve research of various rules, regulations and procedures that are consistently changing. You may be designated as a Government-wide Commercial Purchase Card Holder in compliance with regulations and dollar limitations for micro-purchase authority. You will prepare and submit requisitions for maintenance and obtain the necessary supplies, equipment, forms publications, services, etc. You will post, examine, balance, compute, and extract data from records to prepare reports.
