Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and develop fire protection systems including fire sprinklers, alarms and suppression systems.Collaborate with civil/electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate fire protection measures into overall building plans.Conduct risk assessments and analyze building layouts to determine the most effective fire protection strategies.Ensure compliance with local, state and national fire safety codes and standards.Create detailed design documentation including drawings, specifications and calculations.Collaborate with contractors and project managers during the installation and testing phases of fire protection systems.Stay updated with advancements in fire protection technologies and industry best practices.Provide technical support and expertise to resolve fire protection-related issues during construction or occupancy.Review shop drawings, material submittals and ...
