Fire Protection Engineer

Selectek has partnered with a growing MEP firm in the Baltimore, MD area seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across Commercial, Government, Healthcare, Industrial, Military/Defense, and Laboratory sectors.
Responsibilities:

Manage projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, and objectives are met

Conduct fire protection and life safety design across various sectors

Engage with clients and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for fire protection system design

Ensure compliance with International Building Code (IBC) and Life Safety Code

Perform occasional site visits (less than 10% travel)

Requirements:

BS in Fire Protection Engineering

EIT certification (PE preferred or willingness to obtain)
