Chaparral is seeking an experienced Firestop Foreman to lead crews in the installation of firestopping systems. This role is responsible for ensuring proper installation of firestop materials at penetrations and joints in a variety of construction settings. The position will be based onsite in Austin, TX and Taylor, TX .
Position Description

• Lead and supervise crews installing firestop material at through and membrane firestop penetrations.
• Oversee installation of firestop systems at drywall, masonry, and curtain wall joint applications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with approved design documents and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, life safety drawings, and specifications.
• Operate and ensure safe use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stages, scaffolds, and ladders.
