JOB TITLE:First Mate
DEPARTMENT:Boats
REPORTS TO:Captain or General Manager
POSITION PURPOSE:
The First Mate is responsible for the operation and safety of the property’s vessel. This person should work in a safe manner consistence with USCG regulations. Daily maintenance inspections to ensure vessel operates correctly, in addition to having a high level of customer service to the people who are aboard the vessel. You should be able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily operation of vessel
Meet and greet customers both as they arrive and depart the vessel
Coordinate line-handling when coming to dock, anchoring, deck maintenance and safety
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
First mate experience preferred
Enrolled in APCA Drug Consortium
Strong knowledge of boating
