About the role
This is an Identified First Nations role within Family and Child Connect, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
The role exists to strengthen culturally safe engagement, improve access to services and support better outcomes for First Nations families. The First Nations Family Response Facilitator plays a key role in engaging families, supporting their connection to FaCC and referred services and providing cultural advice and guidance to the wider FaCC team.
This role works alongside other FaCC practitioners within an assessment and referral service and contributes to informed, culturally responsive decision-making.
This is an Identified position. Applicants must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. This requirement is permitted under sections 25, 104 and 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld).
