First Year Chemistry Laboratory Instructor

University of Prince Edward Island is seeking applications for up to 21 Graduate Laboratory Instructors. Ideal candidates will actively supervise undergraduate labs, provide pre-lab instruction, and ensure safety protocols are upheld. This role demands strong time management skills as you'll also be involved in grading lab reports and responding to student inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise undergraduate students in chemistry labs
• Provide pre-lab instruction and guidance
• Engage with students during lab work
• Ensure correct usage of chemicals and equipment
• Mark lab reports and submit scores
Requirements:
• Current graduate student at UPEI
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field
