Job Description

Summary This position is a Fish Biologist, GS- 0482-11 working in Red Bluff, California for the R8-Red Bluff Fish and Wildlife Office. Responsibilities As a Fish Biologist your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Performing scientific investigations on anadromous fish (Chinook Salmon, steelhead, lamprey, and sturgeon) and their habitats in Northern California, particularly focused on flow and temperature management, watershed restoration, mitigation and fish passage. Experience with juvenile fish monitoring and research projects, conservation biology, and sampling of Threatened and Endangered Species under Endangered Species Act permit restrictions.
