Job Description
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Fitter (Trade Tested)
- Minimum of 5 years' post-trade experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment
- Experience with steel fabrication, including interpreting and working from technical drawings
- Arc welding experience
- Hydraulic systems experience, with the ability to read and interpret hydraulic drawings
- Injection moulding experience will be advantageous
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport will be advantageous
Skills & Competencies
- Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
