CareCore at Mentor is seeking a dependable and hardworking Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Schedule:
Full time 9:30am-6pm, with an every other weekend rotation.
Responsibilities
Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and polishing floors
Maintain carpets through vacuuming, spot cleaning, and extraction as needed
Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively
Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures
Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed
Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
