FOOD SERVICE WORKER (MVO)

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Food Truck at McGuire AFB, New Jersey. Responsibilities Operates a motor vehicle to transport and deliver food and beverages throughout Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Ensures products are delivered to customers according to quality standards established by management (i.e., freshly prepared foods delivered hot or cold, as appropriate, and in a timely manner). Accepts patrons' orders over the telephone. Describes menu items to customer, explaining various product combinations and options. Submits order to cook for preparation of food items, assembles order for transport. Performs and documents vehicle operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing vehicles.
