Food Standards Officer

We are looking for a food qualified Trading Standards Officer or Environmental Health Officer to conduct a series of food standards visits for a Welsh Trading Standards service.
About the role
To assist the Trading Standards Service in providing the full range of its functions in accordance with relevant objectives, policies and procedures.
About you
Ideally, you will bring with you knowledge and experience of the full range of Trading Standards legislation and enforcement, including Food Standards, Feed Hygiene and Product Safety.
You will be organised, accurate and flexible with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
You may have an appropriate professional qualification or experience in a related field. You will be adaptable and organised, with an eye for detail and capable of working under pressure.
You must be willing to carry out duties at flexible times including occasional evenings/ weekends.
