Food Technologist

Our client based in Cato Ridge is looking for a Food Technologist to join their team as a Food Technologist.

The Individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, as well as developing and implementing new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Must have 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar or related environment within the business.
• Know-How, Technical Skills and Experience (n. of years and where)
• 2 – 3 years HACCP Understanding and implementation according to SANS 10330:2020
• Basic understanding Veterinary and Act 36 requirements.
• Basic laboratory experience or techniques
• Syspro – Basic understanding is an advantage and operating a must to learn on the job.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
