Position Overview
Tatu City is looking to hire a Forestry Officer - Reforestation, Tree Harvesting Management and Translocation to safely and professionally carry out tree harvesting, relocation, and translocation activities in compliance with environmental approvals, ensuring tree survival (for transplanted and translocated trees), and alignment with conservation and development requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify trees approved for harvesting or translocation based on permits and site plans
- Carry out tree felling, pruning, and general management using approved methods and safe operational practices
- Plan, operate, and maintain tools and equipment used in harvesting, pruning, and translocation, ensuring efficiency and safety.
