Forge Die Service Technician

Description Prepare, inspect, assemble, disassemble, and repair all tools, devices and bolsters for the manufacturing and forging operation. Assist and advise in all forge tooling setup operations. Work on tools inside and outside presses. Process and maintain appropriate paperwork. Operate other Tool Shop equipment and machines when necessary. Repair and polish new and used forge tooling during a production run, inside and outside of presses. Perform small weld repairs, and transport tools to other work areas when necessary. Maintain high-level quality of work as a team member. Perform daily maintenance on equipment, maintain a clean work environment and work safely. Requirements Follow all safety procedures and precautions. Cleaning, inspecting, repairing, assembling and disassembly of bolster tools and devices. Be able to make and install hydraulic lines.
