Job Description
To ensure that offloading, put-away, picking and packing processes for inbound and outbound operations are performed efficiently and in a timely manner using assigned equipment so as to ensure customer satisfaction. In addition the incumbent must ensure that the assigned equipment under his care is maintained in good condition.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive the invoice and packing list for inbound shipments and check that the items tally. Inform the Storekeeper on any damages, short or over shipments and discrepancies observed in received items.
- In case of damages, fill the Materials Discrepancy Note (MDN) or other forms as the case may be, file the same and highlight the case to the Storekeeper.
- Accurately segregate items, scan if necessary, and carry out put away in the proper locations so as to enable quick and effective retrieval.
