FPGA Architect (Ottawa)

Technical Skills & Experience

• Solid expertise in VHDL / Verilog
• Hands on experience with FPGA/ASIC development and verification
• Proficiency with FPGA platforms such as Xilinx, Altera, Microsemi
• Solid understanding of FPGA technologies, power consumption, startup, and transient behavior
• Knowledge of high speed buses, memory architectures, processing functions, and interfaces
• Experience in UNIX/Linux environments
• 10-15 years of experience in the aerospace / avionics domain

Education & Certifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Aerospace, Embedded Systems, or Computer Engineering
• or Master's / PhD in Embedded Electronics
• Preferred:
  • DO 254 / DO 160 certification
  • Exposure to avionics products (civil/military computers, displays)
  • Programming skills in Python / C / C++
