Freight Forwarding Procurement Specialist

The **Ocean Procurement Specialist**will be responsible for the Ocean freight procurement (import/export, FCL including intermodal moves). In this role you will:
- Act as filter between Sales / Account Managers, leading the pricing strategy of specific trade lane (power lanes).
- Analyze root causes of any service/performance issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure discipline in only quoting when minimum requirement for answers to qualifying questions has been met.
- Adjust quoting parameters in conjunction with sales leaders to reach effective closing ratio.
