Job Description

Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of a Blackbeard Mascot to join our team. This position represents FSW in character costume at a variety of sporting events, community events, and on-campus activities; as well as encouraging school spirit and visibility.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Must be between 5''7 and 6''1 in height, and be weight proportionate in order to wear the costume properly.

  • Willingness to learn routines and dance moves.

  • Ability to attend FSW home athletic competitions and community events.

  • Available to work flexible hours including days, nights and weekends.

  • Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and exude FSW Spirit!

    • Hourly rate: $15.00
