Job Description
Elevate infant care as a Clinical Dietitian at IWK Health's NICU in Halifax. This full-time position focuses on nutritional interventions and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Reporting to the Manager of the Neonatal Care Team, you will be responsible for crafting nutritional care plans that address the unique needs of infants in the NICU. You will educate staff while participating in various committees to advance neonatal nutrition practices. This role involves weekends and outreach to the Family Newborn Care Unit as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design nutritional strategies for NICU infants
• Offer guidance and training to staff and students
• Collaborate in interprofessional team meetings
• Maintain continuous assessment of patients' nutritional status
• Deliver weekend standby support as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree specializing in nutrition
